Busy day on the allotment site today. After the rain yesterday, the weather was lovely - it felt like spring is on the way. We have burned most of the wood which had piled up (must remember to do this as we go along next time). We are hoping that the ploughing might be done some time this week. We will then need lots of help clearing the debris thrown up by the ploughing. We hope to do that next weekend if the weather is favourable. Then, hopefully, on Monday, the committee will be able to meet and pace out the site to see exactly how many plots we can squeeze in. We will then have to find a fair and equitable way of distributing these. Demand exceeds supply!
ReplyDeletePlease feel free to come along to the site and help next weekend. Even if you can only spare an hour or so it would help. We have achieved so much and the site is transformed but there is a lot more to do!
